How to Install apache2 software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

apache2 software package provides Apache HTTP Server, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install apache2

apache2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the apache2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apache2 *

You will get with apache2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
